Disaster Response
On the 17th of September 2025, a major disaster, brought on by a cloud burst, struck 3 Mountain Children’s Foundation villages, Kuntari Phali, Sera, and Dhurma, in the Nanda Nagar block of Chamoli district of Uttarakhand . In this devastating tragedy, 9 people lost their lives. Two little boys of our ‘Happy Bal Sangathan’ were among those buried under the debris. The Team, with of many supporters, has gone that extra mile to ensure that relief and support have reached those that need it the most. A small report can be read here
